1. About This Policy

This SMS Messaging Compliance policy governs all text message communications sent by CaravelIQ LLC ("CaravelIQ," "we," "us," or "our") through the CampanaOne Critical Event Management platform. CaravelIQ provides A2P (Application-to-Person) SMS messaging services to enterprise organizations for the purpose of delivering time-sensitive operational notifications, emergency alerts, and safety communications to opted-in recipients.

All SMS campaigns operated through CaravelIQ's platform comply with the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) Messaging Principles and Best Practices, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and applicable carrier and regulatory requirements.

2. Campaign Use Case & No Marketing Messaging

CaravelIQ operates A2P 10-digit long code (10DLC) messaging campaigns registered with The Campaign Registry (TCR) under the following use case classifications:

  • Transactional & Emergency Alerts: Time-sensitive operational notifications including facility emergencies, evacuation orders, safety status updates, critical infrastructure alerts, and incident response communications.
  • Public Safety: Notifications delivered on behalf of enterprise customers to their employees, contractors, or stakeholders during active emergency events.
  • Account Notifications: Platform-related communications such as account activity, authentication codes, and delivery confirmations.

CaravelIQ does not operate marketing, promotional, or lead-generation SMS campaigns, and does not send unsolicited messaging of any kind. All message content is strictly business continuity and emergency operational use.

3. Customer Responsibility for Consent

Recipients are enrolled in CaravelIQ SMS communications exclusively through explicit consent obtained and maintained by the customer organisation. Consent methods include:

  • Written enrollment forms provided by the recipient's employer or organization.
  • Digital opt-in through the CampanaOne web or mobile application, where the recipient actively checks a consent box and submits their mobile number.
  • Organizational onboarding processes in which individuals are notified of SMS communications and provided opt-out instructions prior to the first message.

It is the customer organisation's responsibility to obtain and document recipient consent before sending SMS through CampanaOne. Consent is recorded with a timestamp, channel, and the specific consent language presented. CaravelIQ does not send unsolicited messages. No phone numbers are purchased, harvested, or obtained from third-party lists. See our SMS Consent & Opt-In for full detail.

4. Opt-Out (STOP)

Recipients may opt out of SMS communications at any time using the following methods:

Reply STOP

Text STOP to any message to immediately opt out. You will receive a single confirmation message, after which no further messages will be sent.

Contact Us

Email compliance@caraveliq.com or contact your organizational administrator to request removal from SMS communications.

Opt-outs are processed immediately and are permanent unless the recipient provides new consent. Opt-out requests submitted via any method are honored within one business day. The keywords STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT are all recognized. Full instructions are available on our SMS Opt-Out Instructions page.

5. HELP Keyword

Text HELP to any CaravelIQ message to receive a response with support contact information and opt-out instructions. You may also contact support@caraveliq.com for assistance.

6. Message Frequency & Carrier Rates

Message frequency varies based on active event volume and the settings configured by the recipient's organization. CaravelIQ does not send unsolicited bulk messages; messages are dispatched only in response to active incidents, scheduled drills, or operational conditions.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier rates for SMS and data apply depending on the recipient's mobile plan. CaravelIQ does not charge recipients for messages.

7. Supported Carriers

CaravelIQ's SMS services are delivered over major US wireless carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and their MVNOs. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery may vary based on network conditions and device status.

8. Prohibited Content

CaravelIQ's platform prohibits the transmission of content that violates CTIA guidelines or carrier codes of conduct, including but not limited to: unsolicited marketing, hate speech, harassment, adult content, illegal goods or services, phishing, or any content that misrepresents sender identity. All message content is reviewed against these standards at the platform level. See our Acceptable Use Policy for full detail.

9. Data Privacy

Mobile phone numbers and consent records collected for SMS communications are used exclusively to deliver the communications for which consent was obtained. This data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. For full details on how we handle personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
